The Bungoma County Government will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Kenya Literature Bureau (KLB) to supply learning and teaching materials for schools across the county.
Reaffirming commitment towards supporting schools, KLB Chairperson Risper Wepukhulu observed that a proper education foundation was critical in shaping quality academic standards.
Bungoma CEC for Education Dr. David Wamamili Wanyonyi said that the education sector requires maximum attention in order to yield results.
“I laud the move by KLB to have a transformed education sector. This visit is timely. We will work closely for better results,” he said.
Wamamili further stated that his department will offer maximum support to all partners in the quest to improve education standards in the region.
