Kisii residents want Governor Simba Arati to clear the air about his academic credentials after Woman Representative Doris Aburi claimed they are fake.
Led by Zedekiah Ombati, they said the allegations have put doubts in the minds of residents about the leadership capability of the governor as he may be under-qualified for the job.
“If the governor did not go to school, let him relinquish his seat for those who have papers to continue,” he said.
The residents were reacting to the recent utterances by Aburi that Arati is using fake papers to fight her.
