The Kisii County Government, in partnership with Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB), is registering school leavers in the local TVETs to empower them with vocational skills.
Governor Simba Arati said that the initiative is supported by KCB which donated Ksh25 million on top of a similar amount from the county government to jumpstart the project.
“Under this agreement, the KCB Foundation will match the Kisii County’ s contribution in a 1:1 ratio to make a total of shillings 50 million,” Arati said.
