The Deputy Principal of Kipsigis Girls High School in Kericho County has been found dead in her residence.
The untimely demise of the 45-year-old educator has prompted an official investigation, as confirmed by Kericho East Police boss, Peter Mutuma.
Reportedly, the unfortunate incident unfolded at 8:22 am, when the teacher was found unconscious in her bedroom.
She was promptly rushed to Siloam Hospital, where, regrettably, she was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Sources indicate that the deceased had been grappling with low blood levels, a health concern that led her to seek medical attention at a local hospital the day before.
The body of the departed educator now rests at Siloam Mortuary, awaiting an autopsy scheduled for today.
