Kibiko Secondary students in Kajiado protest demanding transfer of principal

Kibiko Secondary School students held protests in Ngong town in Kajiado North today morning demanding transfer of their principal who they accused of incompetency.

The students accused the school head of failing to lead teachers to perform their duties and also complained a lack of enough teachers at the institution.

The students who sought anonymity said they pay money for extra hours for morning and evening preps, but the teachers do not attend lessons.

They claimed the head teacher has failed to oversee teachers to perform their duties.

The angry students said the candidates have been performing poorly in examinations and last year the top student scored a C minus in KCSE.

They reported the matter to the education offices in Ngong and were directed to go home until further notice.
