Kenya Primary School Heads Association(KEPSHA) has signed a memorandum of understanding with KURASA Africa to enhance the capabilities of teachers and enrich the learning experiences of students.
Speaking during the signing of the agreement, KEPSHA National Chairman Johnson Nzioka said KURASA innovative platform offers a suite of intuitive, robust, and comprehensive digital tools designed to empower teachers and inspire learners.
“By collaborating with KURASA Africa, we are taking a significant step towards redefining education in Kenya,” he said.

KURASA Africa is a pioneering force in the edtech sector, dedicated to harnessing the power of technology to transform education.
Their innovative platform offers a suite of intuitive, robust, and comprehensive digital tools designed to empower teachers and inspire learners in all public primary schools with integrated junior secondary schools.
He said the partnership will provide teachers and school heads with cutting edge digital resources that facilitate learner-centered education with comprehensive attendance and profile management tools, efficient administration systems, and streamlined tools for scheming, lesson delivery, and assessments.
“Our educators will be better equipped to meet the diverse needs of our learners. Additionally, real-time performance tracking tools will enable us to monitor and support our learners more effectively, ensuring that no child is left behind,” the chair said.
The chairman noted that technology will also help head of institutions and parents to monitor the progress of their children.
He noted that the educational landscape is rapidly changing, and it is imperative that the sector adapt to the changes to provide our learners with the best possible opportunities; that is why they had to partner with KURASA Africa.
“At KEPSHA, we believe that the key to a successful education system lies in empowering our teachers. When teachers are supported with the right tools and resources, they can inspire and guide the learners to reach their full potential,” he said.

He said the integration of tech in classrooms will support learner-centered teaching.
“Digital technology is important in the journey. This will benefit all learning institutions in the country,” he said, noting that technology benefits both teachers and learners at the same time reduces time of tackling given topics.
