KATTI national games set to begin Tuesday next week

The Kenya Association of Technical Training Institutes (KATTI) National Season 3 Ball Games will be held at Siaya National Polytechnic.

According to a memo sent to all TVET Principals and signed by Vice Chair Dr. Charles Koech, the games will run from October 29 to November 2, 2024.

Participants will be the top two institutions from the regional competitions which ran from October 17 to 20 and the games will include Volleyball, Hockey, Rugby and Handball

Institutions’ teams are expected to report at the venue on October 29 and will depart on November 2, 2024 after the sports activities.

Participating institutions are required to facilitate trainees with accommodation fee of Ksh600 per day for four days and trainees are to be given a stipend of Ksh300 daily for refreshments. They are to carry their own mattresses and coaches are to be given a stipend for sustenance allowance.

Teams which fail to meet the set standards will not be allowed to participate.
