Kabete National Polytechnic to hold 5th graduation ceremony

Kabete National Polytechnic is set to host its 5th graduation ceremony, a significant milestone in its journey of nurturing Kenya’s future professionals.

The event will take place on December 11, 2024 at the institution’s campus grounds, celebrating the achievements of thousands of graduates from diverse disciplines.

This year’s theme, “Skills for Sustainability and Progress,” highlights the institution’s dedication to equipping students with practical expertise and innovative thinking to address contemporary challenges.

Speaking to Education News ahead of the event, Chief Principal Patrick Muchemi expressed immense pride in the graduating class.

“This cohort has demonstrated resilience, creativity, and dedication despite the challenges posed by the ever-changing global landscape. They leave here not just with qualifications but as innovators and problem-solvers ready to contribute meaningfully to society,” he said.

Kabete National Polytechnic, accredited by TVETA, CDACC and KNQA, continues to cement its status as a leader in technical and vocational education.

The ceremony will feature distinguished guests, including industry leaders, government officials and alumni, alongside proud families and friends. Cabinet Secretary for Education Julius Migos Ogamba is expected to attend as the chief guest.

He will deliver a keynote address emphasizing the vital role of technical education in Kenya’s Vision 2030 development agenda.
