They Mukurwe-ini Member of Parliament John Kaguchia, in collaboration with the World Scout Parliamentary Union Kenya (WSPU), donated scout uniforms to students at Muhito Maganjo Primary School in Mukurwe-ini Central Ward.
During the event, MP Kaguchia emphasized the significance of the scouting movement in instilling discipline, leadership, and essential life skills among young pupils.
“This gesture will strongly encourage students to join the Scouts, a movement that equips learners with crucial skills and values,” he stated.
In addition to providing uniforms, Kaguchia announced that the Maganjo Primary School Scouts would be sponsored to attend an upcoming camp organized by WSPU and the Kenya Scouts Association (KSA).

The camp is in preparation for Scouts Day, which will take place on February 22, 2025.
This initiative is part of the MP’s ongoing commitment to partner with organizations that share his vision of developing and empowering young people and the community.

“We continue to engage with organizations and institutions to ensure the development and well-being of our people,” he said.
Parents, teachers, and students thanked the government for recognizing the Scouts movement.
The occasion also highlighted the importance of youth involvement in extracurricular activities that promote responsibility and teamwork.
