Parents have been advised to instill virtuous values and principles in their children in a bid to rid malignant societal ills.
Bonchari MP Dr. Charles Onchoke said that vices such as cheating in examinations evolve into serious immoral activities in adulthood including electoral fraud, slander and even murder.
This, he said, could be minimized by training children to be God-fearing individuals.
“Let us train us train our children to grow in the culture of Christian Principles that will cushion them from assimilating vices and corruption,” he said.
Onchoke was speaking at Itierio Lutheran Church during its consecration and celebration of 75 years since inception.
The MP asked candidates sitting their national exams to desist from participating in exam malpractice, warning parents against buying fake exam papers from con artists.
