Holy Family Musembe Secondary in Kakamega gets KSh5 million for infrastructure development

Lugari Member of Parliament has allocated KSh5 million for infrastructure development at Holy Family Musembe Secondary School in Lugari Constituency.

Addressing the congregation during Annual General Meeting of Holy Family Musembe Secondary School, the MP Nabii Nabwera said the money is incentive to boost academic standards in the school.

“I have allocated KSh5million to be used for infrastructure development in this school,” said Nabwera.

He further noted that his commitment to enhance the infrastructure of schools in Lugari Constituency remains unwavering.

The MP further disclosed that the school has shown great promise with a substantial student population.

The school Principal Chrispine Obanda thanked the MP for his development agenda for the schools and promised to work together.

On academics, Obanda observed that this year, the school is working towards a greater improvement in the coming national exams.

“We are on right pathway of achieving better results and sending more students to universities,” he said.

He further disclosed that discipline, which is key for good performance has tremendously improved in the recent past.

Obanda also thanked the Board of Management, parents, teachers and sponsor church for believing in the school vision and rallying behind the leadership for better results and the seamless running of the school.

The institution, despite of being a mixed school, is among top performing schools in Lugari.
