The government has appointed Mr. Stanley Maindi from the Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA) to lead a new directorate at the Ministry of Education (MoE).
Mr Maindi, a career educationist and specialist in recognition of prior learning (RPL), will now head the Directorate of Linkages, Dual Training Services, and RPL. With extensive experience in working with donor partners and having previously served as a chief officer in Kakamega County, Mr. Maindi brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role. He has also served as the director of technical services on secondment from the Ministry.

In announcing the appointment, TVET PS Dr. Muoria expressed confidence in Mr. Maindi’s ability to lead the directorate. She made the announcement during her address at the KNQA Council retreat in Machakos County, highlighting her trust in his leadership as he works with a team of experts to drive the government’s agenda in dual training.
