Good news for youths as MP in Nyamira pledges KSh2 million to support TVET education

Kitutu Masaba MP Clive Gisairo has promised to work with the county government and other education stakeholders to support the youths to enhance their skills relevant in the modern society.

He said that NG-CDF office has put aside KSh2 million to support anyone one from the constituency who is ready to train in the Technical and Vocational Education and Training colleges in the area.

The MP who spoke at Kitutu Masaba Technical and Vocational College during the career sensitisation day said that the big country’s populace consists of the youth and underscored the importance of equipping them with relevant skills for the modern world.

“Any country that values prosperous life invests in sustainable education of their youth and that is what we are trying to achieve in our country,” he said.

The MP asked the youth to abstain from premarital sex because it leads to teenage pregnancies.

“I have never agreed with Kenya Kwanza government’s development agenda but for the first time I have agreed with President William Ruto’s bottom-up approach that I find workable among the youth through many ways,” he said.

He asked parents to support the children to acquire passports and visas to enable them travel to other countries for employment.
