Four schools from Kiambu County feature among the top 10 in the entire country in KCSE 2024 examinations results.
Merishaw School, a private institution led the pack nationwide with a mean score of 10.57 with Alliance Boys following closely with a mean grade of 10.31.
According to the examination performance, four schools from Kiambu feature among top performers in the country.
Nairobi, Kajiado, Kiambu and Nandi are the counties that produced the 10 schools in the country.
Below is the full list of the top 10 private and public high schools in Kenya in KCSE 2024:
- Merishaw School located in Kajiado County with mean score of 10.57. School posted A plain grades.
- Alliance Boys High School located in Kiambu County had mean score 10.31 and number of A grades were hundred.
- Kapsabet High School in Nandi County had mean score of 10.15 with 65 candidates bagging A plain.
- Kenya High School in Nairobi with mean score of 10.13. Number of As grades are 70
- Starehe Boys’ School in Nairobi had a mean of 10.11 recording 47 A plain grades.
- Strathmore School in Nairobi had a mean of 10.09 with 20 students having As.
- Maryhill Girls High School in Kiambu had a mean score of 10.05 with 80 plain.
- Alliance Girls High School in Kiambu recorded a mean score of 10.04 with 89 grades.
- Mang’u High School in Kiambu as well had mean score of 10.001 and grade 107 As.
- Moi High School Kabarak located in Nakuru and a mean score: 9.89 and 34 A plain grades.
Mang’u High produced the highest number of grade As at 107, with Alliance Boys coming second with 100.
