Four Form Two girls, adult arrested in Bomet over sex orgy

Four secondary school female students and an adult have been arrested at a house in Bukacha, Bomet East, Bomet County while engaging in a suspected sex orgy.

The girls, all in form two and the male suspect are said to have lived together in the house for three days while indulging in the said immoral acts.

Administration officers acting on a tip-off from members of public raided the house and managed to arrest the 5 who were already drunk.

Kiromwok Chief Cosmas Towett said the suspects, upon questioning, admitted that they have been consuming illicit brews and indulging in sex.

“We raided the house after getting information from the village elder and found the girls, all in form 2 staying with the man. Upon questioning them, they admitted that they have been living together, drinking and indulging in immoral acts and that their parents had not taken any action,” he noted.

He expressed shock that the girls’ parents were not keen on their whereabouts, a situation he says is a pointer that many parents had abdicated their parental roles.

Towett warned against such a behavior, stating that parents should ensure their children are safeguarded during the long holiday to prevent irresponsible behaviors that can endanger their lives.

“I am so shocked and want to ask all parents in Kiromwok to protect their children. This is a long holiday and everybody should ensure that their children remain at home. When they are not studying, children should be involved in other chores. Parents should not allow their children to loiter around because this can expose them to irresponsible acts which can lead to early pregnancies and even diseases,” added Towett.

The 5 are currently being held at the Merigi Police Station, awaiting arraignment in court on Monday.
