The two girls who were murdered by their uncle in Lekuruki village Ngong, Kajiado county.

A family in Lekuruki village, Ngong’, is seeking financial support from well-wishers to lay their two children to rest.

The two sisters – Pauline Wanjiku, 4, and Bridgit Mukulu, 6, – were murdered by their uncle in cold blood on Friday last week. Their 19 year old aunt survived the attack and is currently in critical condition in hospital.

The children were reportedly in their grandmother’s house at around 11:00 am when they were brutally attacked.

A neighbor, Mwajuma Kakai, said that she heard screams but assumed the children were playing.

“I then heard screams from an older person, that is when I went to the house only to find the girls’ bodies in a pool of blood,” she said.

Ngong Police said that the hunt for the 35-year old man, identified as Dennis Vyalo Munguti, is still ongoing.

The family is requesting for financial support to cater for the burial of the sisters and the medical expenses of the 19-year old girl, who is the culprit’s sister.

To support the family, MPesa: 0705995314 (George Mungutu).
