Embu County education stakeholders have decided to initiate a strong academic campaign towards improving performance in all schools in the county.
KESSHA chairperson Benson Njue, TSC County Director Evans Mbugua and County Director of Education Kipruto Kosgey said the time has come for the county to boost its current academic standards to a higher level.
They promised that they will unite with parents and teachers to push for best results in 2024 KCSE in all schools in the county.
Speaking at Waterbuck Hotel in Nakuru City during Embu County KESSHA Conference, the leaders said all teachers will have to put their best foot forward in classrooms to ensure students get the best results.
“It is our core responsibility to ensure we produce students with better grades as we have well trained teachers and cooperative parents. Let every person play his part to make Embu County excel in education,” said Mbugua, adding that cooperation between all stakeholders is the key to achieving academic excellence.
On his side, Kosgey said as Ministry of Education (MoE), they will ensure they streamline the school system, the learning environment and student discipline.
Njue said as principals, they will cooperate with education officials to improve the standards of education in the county.
“As principals we support all measures which will be put in place to ensure our learners achieve the best in academics,” he said.
