The Eldoret National Polytechnic has achieved accreditation from the Kenya National Qualification Authority (KNQA) to provide Curriculum-Based Education Training (CBET).
Speaking during the institution’s 18th graduation ceremony, KNQA Chairman Stanley Kiptis commended the polytechnic for aligning educational skills with job markets and practical competence.
Kiptis highlighted the institution’s adaptability to the ever-evolving demands of the global economy, emphasizing its crucial role in the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) revolution.
He praised Eldoret National Polytechnic for contributing to the vision of 2030 and the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), which underscore the vital link between skills and competencies.
Kiptis underscored the significance of the KNQF Act No. 22 of 2014, empowering the authority to coordinate and harmonize education, training, assessment, and quality assurance for all qualifications awarded in the country.
The accreditation marks a milestone in promoting inclusivity, equal opportunities, and recognizing diverse forms of learning in the pursuit of educational excellence.
