University of Nairobi don Ken Omoke has termed quality education the best investment parents can give their children.
Addressing mourners at Bogisiankio village of Magenche ward in Kisii County, the don said a well educated family lives happily because they do not fight over sparse resources.
“When people are learned, they live interdependently and this minimizes jealousy,” he said as he praised the late Peris Kerubo for struggling to educate all of her 10 children.
The children have ventured into law, medicine, teaching and one is a County Commissioner.
Present during the event was former Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commissioner Wilfred Okemwa,Langata Subcounty Commissioner Ongera Ochako and KUPPET Kisii County Branch Executive Secretary Joseph Abincha.
