Education Cabinet Secretary (CS) Julius Ogamba is intrigued by the high number of pregnancies among KCSE candidates this year.
Speaking at Gesieka Market during a mentorship programme organized by Kisii Woman Representative Dorice Donya Toto and attended by over 20 MPs, Ogamba called on all stakeholders to take responsibility in protecting children.
The CS strongly condemned the rising cases of early pregnancies among school-going children and urged leaders to intensify community sensitization efforts on sexual and gender-based violence.
