A Kirinyaga University lecturer has come to the defense of Dennis Bright, a graduate of the university, who was found dead late last week in his hotel room in Mombasa.
The death of 25-year old Bright has been speculated to be foul play connected with his array of online business which had minted him a fortune.
The lecturer, Dr. Kabata, said that Bright was an outstanding student whom he taught the ropes of online jobs and using new technology to leverage his ventures.
Dr. Kabata said that not all young men who have died mysteriously were engaged in questionable and fishy online scams.
He noted that many students are now earning a living through online jobs and have stopped being dependent on their parents.
The don praised Bright for holding the hands of other students and taught them how to make money online.
“In the digital ecosystem, innovation, research and the digital world making millions is very easy but the most important thing is how to invest the money,” he said.
