Chiefs in Kisii asked to ensure enhanced security in schools

Chiefs have been asked to work with schools’ administrations within their jurisdiction to ensure good security for smooth learning.

The Principal of Kettering Girls High in Kisii County Tabitha Mogonchi said that the youth especially girls are delicate in their curious and adventurous minds that need guiding as they navigate their paths of growth and development.

“These are our children. They mature in body but they are young in mind and need constant joint effort from all stakeholders in order to realize their academic goals,” she said.

The Principal who addressed parents of this year’s form four students on Tuesday January 21, during the unveiling of the school’s KCSE examination target for 2025 asked parents to provide their children with enough personal effects including sanitary towels and soaps.

“We had a disciplined group of children whom we code-named Vanguards and they lived to that name to do us pride in the examinations,” she said.

Some 806 students attained university mark in KCSE 2024.
