Bwake Boys have been crowned the Trans Nzoia County Rugby Fifteens champions after delivering a stunning 39-0 victory over St Joseph’s Boys Kitale in the final. With this emphatic win, Bwake Boys secured a spot in the upcoming regional games, marking a historic achievement for the school.
The county rugby championship saw intense competition, with top schools battling for supremacy.
Bwake Boys displayed remarkable dominance throughout the tournament, remaining unbeaten and keeping a clean sheet in all their matches.
Their path to the title was nothing short of impressive. In the group stages, they overpowered Kwanza Boys 48-0 and shut out Friends School Chalicha 29-0.
Bwake Boys continued their brilliant form in the knockout rounds, defeating Matumbei 17-0 in the quarterfinals.
The semifinal match against a strong St. Anthony’s Kitale side was tightly contested, with Bwake Boys securing a hard-fought 3-0 victory to advance to the final.
On the other side, St.Joseph’s Kitale reached the final after a 16-8 win over Chalicha in the semifinals.
However, they were no match for Bwake Boys in the final showdown. From the kickoff, Bwake Boys dominated possession and territory, displaying superior skill, speed, and teamwork.

Their relentless attack and solid defence left St. Joseph’s Kitale without answers, sealing a decisive 39-0 triumph.
Other schools also put in commendable performances in the tournament, including St Anthony’s Boys, which thrashed Trans Nzoia Mixed 32-0 and Makunga Secondary 34-0 in the group stage before losing in the semifinals.
With their county championship secured, the Bwake Boys will now focus on the regional games, where they will represent Trans Nzoia County.
Their flawless run in the county tournament has positioned them as strong contenders for regional glory.
