Namawanga Girls High School in Webuye West Sub-county in Bungoma has reclaimed its academic glory after delivering an impressive performance in the KCSE exams.
The school recorded a mean score of 6.9, a remarkable achievement that has earned 128 students direct entry to public universities.
Some nine students had B 9, 51 B-, 68 C+, 71 C, 13 C- and three had D+.
The school’s Principal, Jane Owuor, attributed the success to the dedication and hard work of the teaching staff, combined with the unwavering support of the Board of Management.

“This performance is a testament to what teamwork, focus, and determination can achieve. Our teachers have gone above and beyond to ensure the girls excel, and we have received incredible support from the entire school community,” Owuor said.
The local community and education stakeholders in Webuye West have lauded Namawanga Girls for its strong performance, with many seeing it as a turning point for the institution. Parents and guardians have also expressed pride in the students’ accomplishments and optimism for the school’s bright future.
