Boy stabs fellow KCSE candidate to death in Nakuru

A boy stabbed his fellow candidate to death in Shiners Boys Nakuru, throwing the school and parents into panic.

A KCSE candidate has stabbed his colleague to death at Shiners Boys High School in Nakuru, throwing the school into confusion and panic as parents demand for enhanced security.

Speaking at the school, the parents led by Wilfred Ondicho, Eunice Nyaboke and Peter Omondi said that they received the distressing news yesterday night and had to make urgent travel to check on the situation of their children.

They said that the incident is very shocking and called on the school administration to put in place security controls to ensure safety of the remaining candidates as they carry out their examinations.

“We are worried about the safety of our children now. We need to be assured by the administration that they will address the gaps to keep them safe in the remaining days,” said Nyaboke.

Omondi said that their children are now distressed and needs sufficient counselling to remain stable during the rest of the examinations.
