Teachers Service Commission (TSC) Rift Valley Regional Director (RD) Alex Cheruiyot has urged teachers in the region to apply for positions of Head of Institution recently advertised by the Commission.
Cheruiyot said the position is critical as it accords teachers a prime opportunity to serve children and improve standards of education in their respective institutions and the country at large.
Speaking in his office in Nakuru, the Director told teachers that the leadership position is a front-row seat to become vision bearers of respective schools and manage day-to-day affairs of learners, contributing to valuable experience required in senior positions.
The RD asked current school heads to prudently utilize all school resources for the benefit of learners, teachers and staff in the schools.
“You must prioritize bettering the standards of education in school to ensure learners acquire quality education,” he said.
