Makueni NGCDF has kicked off training of 70 youth selected from across the constituency to take up fully funded driving lessons at Wote TTI.
Speaking during the launch, Makueni NGCDF manager Daniel Kavoi noted that the initiative will include other skills like plumbing, beauty and the like for one and half months and will take place annually.
Kavoi encouraged those who got the opportunity to make sure they take advantage by committing themselves fully to acquire the necessary skills.
“Our MP Susan Kiamba came up with the initiative since she wants our youth to benefit with the skills and thereafter issue them with licences upon completion. We are picking them from poor backgrounds and less fortunate in the society,” he said.
