Ambitious Musingu School in Kakamega sets higher targets in 2025 KCSE

Musingu High School Chief Principal Bernard Toili Lukuya on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, led his team of 84 teaching staff, 44 Support Staff and 2,164 students among them being 535 candidates who are 2025 flag bearers in unveiling this year’s KCSE target mean.

Dr Eric Opingo was the Chief guest at the event that was held at the school’s assembly.

In 2024 KCSE, the school attained the mean score of 7.15 translating to an overall Mean Grade of C+, a remarkable improvement from 6.5806 in 2023.

The current candidate class has decided to code name their cohort as Phoenix Squad and the institution regards the team as one of the best and promising class.

During the ceremony, Lukuya lauded last year’s class for being exceptional in terms of discipline and self-drive saying that their performance in exams was a forward push for even better success this year.

“To the Phoenix Squad of 2025, this is your year; work hard and be humble,” he advised.

The school is located in Kakamega South Sub-county in Kakamega County along Kakamega-Kisumu Highway.
