Machakos County Senator Agnes Kavindu has urged the government through the Ministry of Education to ensure exam candidates whose parents’ houses were demolished on the East Africa Portland Cement Company land have a place to live while sitting for their national exams.
She emphasized that these students should not become collateral damage because of an issue that doesn’t involve them at all.
The senator noted that she won’t stop in the fight to ensure the land is given back to the community and urged leaders from Ukambani region to unite and ensure their people are not robbed of their land.
