Education stakeholders in Narok County have been urged to abandon their differences and work together to boost academic standards in the county. County TSC Director Lesayo Megiri argued that disputes among stakeholders compromise the quality of education and should, therefore, be abandoned.

Speaking in Narok town, Megiri also warned against sabotage, urging parents to focus on investing in their children’s education, which he says is key. “I want to ask all stakeholders to abandon their differences and work together. This will help us get good results in this county,” he said.

According to him, the standards of education in a county depend on stakeholders’ cooperation, reiterating his readiness to work with other stakeholders in the region.

Concerning understaffing, which has remained a major challenge in the county, Megiri promised to address the problem, adding that there was no cause for alarm among locals. “Schools in our county are currently grappling with understaffing. My office is aware of this problem, and we have plans to hire more teachers soon so as to end this issue,” added Megiri.
