The Public Service Commission (PSC) has shortlisted a total of eight candidates out of 85 who applied to fill the position of Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Academic, Research, and Student Affairs at Alupe University in Busia County.
The Commission is set to interview the 8 candidates for two days, with Prof. Joshua K. Kwonyike (Baringo), Prof. Margaret N. Barasa (Bungoma), Prof. John Wangai Kimenju (Nyeri), and Prof. Basil T. Iro Ong’or (Kisumu) appearing before the panel on August 29, 2024.
Prof. Charles Muleke Inyagwa (Vihiga), Prof. Hellen K. Mberia (Meru), Prof. Dr. Fredrick N. Kassilly (Bungoma), and Prof. Michael N.I. Lokuruka from Turkana County (Persons Living with Disability) will attend the interviews on September 2, 2024.

The shortlisted scholars have are required to bring their original documents; national ID, academic and professional certificates and testimonials, letter of recognition of qualifications from the Commission for University Education (CUE) for any degree obtained from foreign universities, and any other supporting documents and testimonials.
The public has been asked to submit any credible information of interest relating to any of the shortlisted candidates on or before August 27, 2024.
